چکیده
Members of the ERF Family Transcription Factors play an important role in plant development and gene expression that regulates responses to biotic abiotic stress. This work identified 36 family genes Coffea arabica within AP2/ERF full domain, using EST-based genomic resource Brazilian Coffee Genome Project. The were classified into nine ten existing groups through phylogenetic analysis deduced amino acid sequences comparison with Arabidopsis. In addition AP2 other conserved domains identified, typical members each group. silico profiling showed high levels for libraries derived from tissues fruits, leaves flowers as well subjected water These results suggest participation C. distinct biological functions, such control development, maturation, this imply selection promising further functional characterizations will provide a better understanding complex regulatory networks related stress, opening up opportunities coffee breeding programs.

The ERF transcription factor family in cassava: genome-wide characterization and expression analyses against drought stress
Cassava (Manihot esculenta) shows strong tolerance to drought stress; however, the mechanisms underlying this tolerance are poorly understood. Ethylene response factor (ERF) family genes play a crucial role in plants responding to abiotic stress. Currently, less information is known regarding the ERF family in cassava. Herein, 147 ERF genes were characterized from cassava based on the complete ...
متن کاملIdentification of novel and conserved microRNAs in Coffea canephora and Coffea arabica
As microRNAs (miRNAs) are important regulators of many biological processes, a series of small RNAomes from plants have been produced in the last decade. However, miRNA data from several groups of plants are still lacking, including some economically important crops. Here microRNAs from Coffea canephora leaves were profiled and 58 unique sequences belonging to 33 families were found, including ...
متن کاملIdentification of ERF-1 as a member of the AP2 transcription factor family.
The ERF-1 transcription factor was previously shown to be involved in the regulation of estrogen receptor (ER) gene transcription in hormonally responsive breast and endometrial carcinomas. In this study we sought to identify the gene for ERF-1. ERF-1 activates ER gene transcription by binding to the imperfect palindrome CCCTGCGGGG within the promoter of the ER gene. ERF-1 protein was purified ...

The Auxin Response Factor Transcription Factor Family in Soybean: Genome-Wide Identification and Expression Analyses During Development and Water Stress
In plants, the auxin response factor (ARF) transcription factors play important roles in regulating diverse biological processes, including development, growth, cell division and responses to environmental stimuli. An exhaustive search of soybean genome revealed 51 GmARFs, many of which were formed by genome duplications. The typical GmARFs (43 members) contain a DNA-binding domain, an ARF doma...
